Maker Club

INTERNET OF THINGS also renamed as MAKER CLUB

Our Tutor Bryn Lewis leads our girls only group through a series of lessons which teach the girls some electronics knowledge and programming. The group is using C++ language to write programmes that measure, monitor and operate a variety of projects.  We have had a play on the longboard that has been motorised and flown a quadcopter around the classroom. Bryn volunteers his time to expand the inquisitive minds of our young computer programming brains. This course aims to extend the development of girls and their programming knowledge through the creation of projects that can lead to practical solutions within our environment.  This club runs from week 5 of Term 1 [Thursday 28 Feb] through to the end of Term 3.

This club operates on Thursdays 3:40 - 5pm
